jacqueline & david are married!

what a beautiful thing- to get married during a season of thankfulness. it’s the perfect time to gather friends and family and celebrate so many wonderful relationships and connections. weddings are always a perfect time for that but weddings the weekend before thanksgiving- so much more so! and, bonus! the weather in atlanta is just so perfect in november- the chilly breeze and the golden, warming sun. so all of this to say, before we even showed up for jacqueline & david’s wedding we really had a good feeling that it would be an amazing day!

jacqueline & david are ‘sunny’ people. they’re joyous, excited and overflowing with happiness. their love for their families and friends was so evident throughout every moment of their wedding day- from their interactive guestbook to the time that jacqueline & david took to speak to each and every one of their guests and thank them for coming. and all this with the most radiant, genuine grins two people have ever had. seriously, as i was working on these images i saw several where the emotion in the image had me laughing or smiling- even a month later! spending the day with two such beautiful people was such a blessing. please enjoy a few of our favorite images from their day:

Staci & Michael’s Wedding at Hotel Indigo, Athens

Allow me to introduce you to our friends, Staci & Michael. They make you smile. Just being around them makes you feel like you’re living life a little more fully. Staci & Michael notice detail, splendidly tiny moments, and they take time to enjoy them. They are intentional, speaking words of kindness to one another and also to all of those around them. They are sensitive and imaginative and passionate and fun. I should have mentioned fun first, actually, because Staci & Michael have a LOT of fun! I was literally smile/laughing through their entire reception and have been really excited to share these with you so i’ll quit trying to describe these two in words- because, look:







Staci & Michael’s ceremony was held at the Seney Stovall Chapel in Athens- we were happy to have their first look nearby before exploring the grounds and then heading downtown to shoot around some of Staci & Michael’s favorite spots.

Their reception was held at the stunning Rialto Room in the Hotel Indigo, I’m digging these ceilings:

Staci & Michael’s parents had so much fun at the wedding- tearing up the dance floor with the entire family!

yvonne & jesse are married!

yvonne & jesse, wow. i really don’t even know where to begin describing this beautiful couple. somehow, their love for one another and their commitment to one another extends past just the two of them. it’s almost like there is so much love between them that they can’t help turning outward and touching the world around them. their friends and family experience this, yes, but also those people who are underrepresented, whose voices are not always heard. yvonne & jesse share so much of their time and talents with various nonprofits around atlanta- really, they are so inspiring! so you can only imagine how sweet their wedding day was, not only for the two of them but also for everyone who has seen these two fall in love and become such a force of good in so many communities. we were honored to be a part of their day!

this next set makes me tear up a little- i mean, look at jesse’s parents! they could not be more proud and happy.

this series is one of my favorites in a long time- so dreamy!

yvonne & jesse chose one of their favorite restaurants (and ours!) sun in my belly to cater their reception- as always, delicious and beautifully presented!

this series of yvonne’s dad and jesse’s mom really makes me smile- their families were so excited to become one big family- it was so sweet!
