laura ann & jeff are just so awesome- everything about them seems so effortless and yet perfect- their adventures, their relationships, their life together with their sweet pup, abby- i feel like they are a movie waiting to happen- starring themselves because i doubt anyone could actually act as awesome as these two really are in real life. the pace of their wedding day was relaxed and comfortable but somehow everything still sparkled with an incredible life and joy infused into it by laura ann & jeff. just being around these two would make anyone smile and feel so grateful to be a small part of the celebration of their wedding. that is 100% how we felt as we captured their beautiful day! here are just a few of our favorite images:
laura ann & jeff chose to have their reception at the stunning hunter museum of american art– such a classically chattanooga location and such a beautifully modern space.
laura ann & jeff, congratulations! you guys are the best and we’re so happy to have captured such an awesome celebration. thank you!
Julia & Ben are our kind of people- I had pretty much decided that months prior when we met up with them to talk about their wedding. Ben had ridden his bike because thats just how he does, even though it was raining! That’s when I decided we needed to be there for them on their wedding day. Sure it didn’t hurt that their wedding was held at Summerour Studio, or that the day was directed by the lovely Ashley Baber. Their wedding day was just so real- everywhere we looked there were moments we were excited to capture. These two have an incredible magnetism- they were always surrounded by smiling friends and family making every second alive with fun and emotion. We found ourselves so energized and inspired by Julia & Ben’s authenticity, that we could have done it all over again, so obviously we had to share their wedding with you:
Their rabbi quickly became one of our favorite people:
I love this next series of Julia & Ben parting at the end of the Ketubah signing just before the ceremony.
I love the traditional Jewish marriage ceremony for some many reasons- one being how involved the parents are in every detail. Julia & Ben certainly have great relationships with their parents and the happiness and excitement coming from the Chuppah was so obvious to all in attendance.
After a quick bustling of her dress, Julia & Ben retreated to a private porch to enjoy one another, the perfect weather and a little picnic. This quiet time was such a beautiful part of the day and Julia & Ben were just so relaxed and comfortable as they lounged before they went down to cocktail hour to greet their guests. I love it.
After their first dance, Julia & Ben’s parents and siblings and best friends gave toasts. It was so fun to hear more about Julia & Ben’s relationship as well as see the love and confidence those around them have in their relationship- beautiful.
i’ve known margaret for at least 12 years- maybe longer- and although i can’t remember the very first time i met her, she’s always stood out in my mind as one of the strongest women i know. she’s fiercely loyal, deeply caring and always ready with a witty quip that will never fail to elicit laughter or an ‘amen!’ she’s one of those people that keeps you on your toes- i can never guess what she’ll be up to next- in the last couple of years alone she’s become an inspiration to many as she’s jumped head first into running and working out, she’s worked tirelessly to complete her doula training so that she can encourage and support families during birth, and most importantly, she and adam have grown into a beautiful family and decided to get married. just beautiful. :) though i don’t know him quite as well, adam seems to be the perfect partner for margaret in every way. they match each other wit for wit and their relationship is full of laughter and the sly smiles that come with inside jokes and a deep understanding of the other. adam is a multitalented musician, producer and father and it’s so sweet to see margaret swoon when he’s around- she’s clearly smitten. capturing their wedding was such a joy!
margaret’s mom and best friend, emily, never left her side- it was so sweet and intimate to spend my time with just the three of them as they relaxed together before the ceremony.
meanwhile, matt was hanging out with adam as he helped his son, paul, finish getting ready- i love the tenderness in these images.
margaret & adam’s wedding took place during one of the largest music festivals of the year- jazzfest. when they found out they chose to think this was the perfect setting for their wedding rather than feel stressed- love them for that! it ended up being the most perfect atlanta day full of people having a good time with friends and family and everyone enjoying the music together- so very margaret & adam. :)
mmtm & adam, thank you both so much for including us in this celebration- capturing every moment was a joy! we wish you the very best!
