this afternoon at piedmont park it was 45 degrees and overcast. my four layers of shirts (yes four, in march, in georgia) couldn’t keep the goosebumps away, and i stared in disbelief at the beautiful tiffany as she smiled and smooched her fiance in a delicate yellow halter dress. she and andrew definitely win the trooper award for their incredible attitude and endless smiles (possibly frozen smiles?) at their engagement shoot today. their playful personalities and free-flowing laughter made the afternoon so enjoyable for us all, we can’t wait to get to know them better before they tie the knot in june! here are a few of our favorite shots:
thanks tiffany and andrew for being so delightful to photograph, even with the not.so.delightful weather! we’re looking forward to june!
good morning friends! -it’s a beautiful one here in atlanta! after a weekend of relaxing and rejuvenating, i am totally ready to take this week by storm. (i’ve already planned what we’re eating for dinner tonight and tomorrow and i’m about to track down all the hangers in the apartment and reorganize the closet!)
our saturday began with a late breakfast, followed quickly by a desire to get outside and enjoy the day. it was beautiful walking around buckhead; it’s no park but it’s just fascinating to see the way sunny and 65 can transform a city. people were walking everywhere and dogs were abundant, it really reminded us why we live here.
sunday matched saturday’s glorious weather and after church and brunch with friends none of us felt like going home. because we all love dogs (and none of us have one) we decided to head to the packed and crazy dog park at piedmont park. matt and i found the love of our lives (of course) in the form of molly, a spaniel-maltese mix with a little golden retriever. how perfect is she??
we spent the rest of the day enjoying the sun and just before heading home grabbed some rita’s ‘ice-custard happiness’ (yup, that’s their official byline). here are a few pics we shot while enjoying friends and sunshine:
this is our lovely and ever-so-stylish friend, claire:
matt and philippe enjoying some mini-football, if you look closely you can see that matt hasn’t shaved in a few days, ew. luckily, that was remedied last night!
power couple, sean and erin:
and there’s midtown!
i leave you with my fave, i think our different personalities really shine through here, haha:
enjoy the beautiful day! i’ll talk with you all soon –
