i decided that this gloomy, rainy day deserved a boost- so i’m sharing this lovely feature of lindsay & ryan‘s fabulous wedding day! matt shot this one himself, about one year ago. from the minute i saw the first image i knew it would be one of my favorite weddings ever. lindsay & ryan worked with the very talented juli vaughn and created a day full of fun, color, energy and love- what a beautiful celebration it was! and thank you so much for the feature, ruffled!
in many industries repeat customers are a sure sign business is going well. in this industry, that…isn’t so much a thing…so i will replace that with: showing up to shoot an incredible couple and realizing that not one, but two of your past clients are groomsmen. :) and since that was the case with kelly & zack’s wedding, we knew right away they’d be awesome folks! we spent an absolutely wonderful day with kelly & zack and their friends and families. the bridesmaids were funny and sweet and so on top of things- kelly barely had time to realize she needed something before it was handed to her! the groomsmen were excited and silly but also so encouraging of zack- it’s rare to see a group of guys like this one. their parents came and went, keeping an eye on both zack & kelly before the ceremony and spending intentional, sweet moments with both. really, i can’t say enough about what wonderful people surrounded kelly & zack on their wedding day! and i think that speaks volumes about who they are as a couple, their engaging personalities and their love of those around them. so many beautiful moments to capture. :)

look at ^those^ beautiful people! it’s been a minute since i talked about how lucky we are that our job introduces us to some of the best people on earth- so let me tell you now- couples like bri & ben are the reason we do what we do. these two are fun and witty and creative and interesting- spending their wedding day with them was our pleasure. though they love their community in brooklyn, they returned to the south for their wedding day- embracing the nostalgia of their college experience. since matt and i share that nostalgia when it comes to the sweet little town of athens, georgia, we felt right at home. :) their wedding and reception took place at the same venue where our reception was held almost 7 years ago and we joined them for a bit of the afterparty of one of our favorite music venues, ever, the 40 watt. excellent taste bri & ben, we like you two! :)
