we have been so touched by all the emails and calls we’ve gotten since the tornado/bad weather here in atl. we feel very blessed that we were out of town when it hit and that our home was unharmed. we walked around when we got back in the city this morning and we were so inspired by the atlanta community. everyone was out and ready to lend a hand:

Wow, what striking photography, guys. These are outstanding. What a beautifully shocking display of nature’s power, and the pain of being mortal and frail. What a reminder that each day is a gift and everything, everyone, around us, is blessed to be so safe – usually.

PS – I showed my entire family, and they were stunned. They thought you took amazing photos, and were really overwhelmed to think that these were photos of a tornado, in a state where I once lived. It really made it real to them.
