last saturday was our second to last wedding of 2008 and what a wonderful way it was to get even more excited about the holiday season! in the midst of shopping and actual hustle and bustle it was such a treat to take some time off to enjoy hollee and john’s wedding. saturday morning was chilly and everyone was prepared with coffee, scarves and excitement. the girls were all huddled close on the salon couches under a towering christmas tree munching on muffins and fruits and reliving good memories dating back to high school! hollee laughed with her friends as she leaned back on the couch and casually applied her makeup- truly a relaxed and confident bride! as the time grew closer and the gravity of what was about to happen began to set in, hollee seemed to become more reflective. her friends and family were ready with hugs and laughter but there was nothing to stop her eyes from filling up when she saw herself, looking absolutely stunning and perfect, in that long white dress. before i get too ahead of myself let’s dive into the images:
matt and i love this image- a man and his dog. so classic!
john is not looking in a mirror- he has an identical twin! these two are hysterical together, always picking on each other yet very much friends. it was really great and often confusing to watch them interact throughout the day!
the beautiful bride, so excited just before walking down the aisle:
the ceremony was really beautiful and personal. the priest read letters that hollee and john had written each another and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house- including mine! here, hollee’s sister takes a moment to wipe her tears as hollee looks back towards her mother.

hollee and john took some time for themselves before heading over to the reception. it was such a sweet time for them and perfect for pictures!
john’s brother joe gives his toast- quite a roller coaster of emotions with this one! LOTS of laughter but with some poingnant parts as well. quite impressive!

I am with Katie, the ring shot is awesome. I think the shot with the Dog might be my favorite shot I’ve seen from you guys so far. That is something that could hang on a wall for a lifetime. Well played.
